  Marvellous seafood platter! Nice to see a place that concentrates on quality rather than quantity. The calamari in particular was absolutely delicious, as was the broth for the mussels. Great view, attentive staff. Highly recommended.

  A very disappointing birthday lunch. The seafood platter was lacking fresh seafood and did they count the 6 chips that came with it. The beef rib was to tough to eat which my partner left on the plate. Not even an apology. The hostess was very cheerful and bubbly and it is a good view. Shame about the food.

  Brilliant ! Absolutely Brilliant ! The setting and view for this quality restaurant is right on the beach of Burnie. On walking in the staff greeted me openly and I was made feel welcome. A great selection menu was available. I had the steak and it was magnificent. A wine / Spirits list to die for. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the lack of great beer and Cider. Once, the only restaurant in town where great Tassie booze was available, now it seems they have done a deal with a multi national brewery and a very generic selection compared to old was available. Sad really. Luckily, they had some Iron House Brewery LAGER and some Van Diemen Brewery PALE ALE hidden away. Problem solved.
